On September 21-23, 2021, we will hold the 5th BigBrain Workshop. Save the date!
The workshop is planned as a physical meeting in Zadar, Croatia. However, we are observing the situation regarding the pandemic very carefully and are prepared to hold the meeting online or in a hybrid form. In continuation of our joint workshops in Jülich 2015, Montreal 2017, and Düsseldorf in 2019, and a virtual meeting last year for the launch of the Helmholtz International BigBrain Analytics and Learning Laboratory (HIBALL) we are looking forward to meet again in person in Croatia.
Again, we welcome contributions from the BigBrain community and look forward to discuss future prospects of the BigBrain data and tools.
Registration and call for contributions will follow soon. Stay tuned.
The 5th BigBrain Workshop will be virtual again. The schedule has been adapted to consider most time zones in our community. We are looking forward to a keynote by Martijn van den Heuvel and hands-on sessions on Anatomy, Ebrains AtlasViewer and siibra, BigBrainWarp, and DataLad and HIBALL infrastructure in the pre-program.

You may also consider to contribute a poster or demo. For that you can still submit your abstract until September 6.
Your valuable contributions will allow us to create a program that represents the full range of exciting research around the BigBrain. Such an event can only become a success story with the support from our community! The program will revolve heavily around the submitted abstracts.
